Linn County Route C Long Branch Bridge Project Delayed

Replacing the Linn County Route C Long Branch Bridge, east of Purdin, has been delayed.  The Missouri Department of Transportation announced that the project, which was set to begin on April 27th, has been delayed to Monday, May 4th.

The delay is the result of contractor schedule changes.

The Long Branch Bridge was built in 1930 and has a traffic volume of approximately 352 vehicles per day.

The bridge is expected to reopen in October 2026.
