The Livingston County Sheriff’s Department report of incidents and arrests for the latter half of May includes numerous items.
Deputies investigated a theft of a ladder from a worksite, multiple domestic disturbance calls in Wheeling, property damage from an apparent gunshot to a vehicle taillight, and damage to farmland believed to be caused by off-road vehicles. Deputies also handled a fraud report involving unauthorized bank charges and continue investigating a stalking complaint from Mooresville residents.
Authorities also responded to a well-being check in Wheeling where an elderly person was found deceased.
Among recent arrests, deputies arrested a Ludlow man for assault, along with several drivers for suspended or revoked licenses and speeding violations. A Kansas City man was also arrested on suspicion of driving while intoxicated and operating a vehicle without a valid license.
