The Livingston County Sheriff’s Department report for the latter half of May shows several investigations and arrests.
Deputies responded to a range of incidents, including a verbal domestic disturbance on May 25th, and a misunderstanding over alleged stolen property on May 27th. That same day, a woman was caught on camera throwing packaged meat into a ditch—charges are pending.
In arrests, a Trenton woman was cited for driving while suspended and expired registration. Several individuals were picked up on active warrants, including suspects from Ray, Carroll, Johnson, and Livingston counties. A Nebraska man was arrested for domestic assault and DWI after fleeing a disturbance in Utica. Other charges this month included peace disturbance, speeding, and possession of a controlled substance.
The department continues ongoing work to address a wide variety of public safety issues across the county.
