If you are planning to travel or the Memorial Day Holiday, Sergent Shane Hux from the Missouri Highway Patrol says allow extra time to reach your destination.

Hux says the highway patrol will be out in force through the weekend to assist motorists and help ensure safety on the road. The Travel Period begins Friday morning and continues through Monday.
