Moderate and severe drought conditions continue across southern Missouri. The Missouri Drought Monitor released February 3rd shows little change from the previous period, with pockets of extreme drought along the Arkansas border.
North of the Missouri River, the eastern half of the state is Abnormally Dry, with areas along the Mississippi showing Moderate Drought. The western half is primarily without drought conditions, with areas of Abnormally Dry conditions.
In the local counties,
No drought condition is Livingston, Carroll, Caldwell, and Grundy County.
Daviess, Sullivan, Linn, and Chariton Counties show portions of the counties as Abnormally Dry.
