Missouri Hunting & Fishing Permit Price Increasing

Anglers and Hunters can expect higher prices for permits soon.  Beginning in January, Missouri residents will see price increases that were approved by the Missouri Conservation Commission.  Examples of the increases include: firearms deer hunting permits rise to $19.50, fishing permits to $14, fall turkey hunting to $15, and spring turkey hunting to $19.50.

The Missouri Department of Conservation says the biggest hikes affect non-residents.  Non-resident firearm deer permits and archery permits increase from $288 to $305.50, while non-resident small game hunting permits climb from $102 to $108.50.

The Missouri Department of Conservation says the additional revenue will help maintain and improve its services, properties, and programs across the state.
