The State of Missouri’s Jobs report for March has been released. The report shows Missouri’s non-farm payroll decreased by 3,200 jobs, private industry employment decreased by 3,400 jobs, and government employment increased by 200 jobs.
Missouri’s smoothed seasonally adjusted unemployment rate was unchanged from February, at 3.9%. That is one-tenth of a percentage point lower than March 2025.
The monthly unemployment report for March, with a breakdown by county, will be released on May 11th.
