Two resurfacing projects will begin soon in the area counties.
A multi-county resurfacing project will begin this week. The Missouri Department of Transportation announced the resurfacing of ten routes in six area counties beginning on Thursday. The schedule includes
- Chariton County Route F – July 23 – August 7
- Chariton County Route UU – July 30 – August 10
- Carroll & Chariton counties Route M – July 31 – August 19
- Caldwell County Route K – August 13-27
- Carroll County Route WW – August 19-25
- Linn & Livingston counties Route B – August 20 – September 2
- Grundy County Route WW – August 26 – September 4
- Grundy & Livingston counties Route W – August 31 – September 11
- Caldwell County Route U – September 2-16
- Caldwell County Route B – September 9-18
Work will be completed as weather permits, and all work is to be completed by October.
A resurfacing project in Sullivan County has been delayed. MoDOT will resurface Sullivan County Routes E, PP, and W. The project was scheduled to begin on July 27, but has been delayed until August 3rd. The project is expected to be completed in late August 2026.
