Highlights include an attempted warrant service in the 1100 block of Calhoun Street where the suspect fled on foot, a report of property damage in the 700 block of Clay Street that remains under investigation, and a verbal domestic disturbance on Fairlane Drive. Officers also followed up on reports of suspicious activity and possible stealing, and responded to a call about a possibly injured puppy.
Late Monday night, a vehicle check at Chilli Bay Waterpark after hours led to the arrest of a 27-year-old man for driving while intoxicated as a persistent offender, endangering the welfare of a child, and driving without a valid license. He was taken to the Caldwell County Detention Center pending formal charges.
