Official election results for Livingston County show a tie for Chillicothe’s 3rd Ward City Council Seat. The results show that Incumbent Stacey Soper and challenger Manuel Morales with 41 votes each.
The election results will be announced at Monday’s Chillicothe City Council meeting, to be accepted by the council.
As the election ended in a tie, the candidates have choices. County Election Authority Sherry Parks says they could flip a coin or they could choose to have a run-off election for the seat.
If a run-off is selected, the cost of that election will be covered by the City.
