Passenger Injured In Daviess County Crash

A two-vehicle crash in Daviess County Monday left one passenger with moderate injuries.  State Troopers investigated the crash that occurred at about 8:10 am on Missouri 190, a mile west of Jamesport.  According to the report, a Freightliner driven by a 47-year-old Trenton man was westbound and slowed to make a right turn into a private driveway,  A pick-up driven by a 26-year-old Jamespoort man was also westbound and attempted to avoid the truck, but struck the rear drivers side, causing the Freightliner to overturn off the north side of the road, onto the driver’s side.  The drivers were not injured.  A passenger in the Freightliner, a 28-year-old from Trenton, was taken to Wright Memorial Hospital in Trenton with moderate injuries.
