The City of Chillicothe is working on a couple of projects in the community. City Administrator Roze Frampton says one project is Commerce Drive.
That’s the road to the new industrial Park.
The preconstruction meeting was held on Tuesday. The first part of the project is the removal of trees in the road’s right of way.
The City has also been working on the pond issues at the Green Hills Golf Course. The Street Department and CMU have worked to repair a pipe in the pond used to draw water for irrigation of the course. They hope to complete the work quickly and will eagerly wait for rain to refill the pond.
