Resurfacing of Highway 6 in Daviess and Dekalb Counties will begin in just over a week. The Missouri Department of Transportation says the work will begin on April 14th to resurface from Missouri Route 31 to US 69. Herzog Contracting Corp will overlay the pavement in 2-mile sections beginning just west of Maysville and work westward to the intersection of Route 6 and Route 31 in DeKalb County.
Work is scheduled Monday-Saturday during daylight hours and the roadway will be narrowed to one lane and a pilot car will guide motorists through the work zone. Motorists should expect delays.
The work should be completed by the end of April.
