Route J Bridge Replacement Delays Continue

Delays continue in starting the replacement of the Bridge Creek Bridge on Route J in Carroll County.  The Missouri Department of Transportation says the project originally scheduled to begin December 2nd is now slated to start January 6th.   With the delays, the project is now expected to be complete in May of 2025.

The Bridge Creek Bridge on Route J, located west of Hale, was built in 1932 and has a traffic volume of approximately 487 vehicles per day.

During construction, motorists will need to find an alternate route.
