Scrub Seal Projects Delayed

A Scrub-Seal project was originally planned to start on Monday in the area counties, but has been delayed a couple of days.  The Missouri Department of Transportation has contracted Vance Brothers, Inc. to complete a scrub seal project in Daviess, Grundy, Harrison, Mercer, Putnam, and Sullivan Counties. The updated schedule includes:

  • 15-17: Daviess/Harrison – County Route K.
  • 20-21: Daviess/Grundy – County Route P.
  • 22-24: Mercer/Grundy – County Route A.
  • 27: Mercer County – Missouri Route 145.
  • 28-30: Harrison/Mercer – County Route V.

During construction, the roadway will be narrowed to one lane with a pilot car guiding motorists through the work zone. Flaggers will also be present at intersections.  The work is weather-dependent and could be rescheduled.
