Summer Reading Programs – Color Our World

Color Our World is the theme for the Livingston County Summer Reading programs.  Youth Services Coordinator at the Lillian DesMaries Youth Library, Jodi Moore says the kick-off event will be held May 31st in the Kelly Poling Arts District.

Chalk it up Chili event from 9-12 noon.

Moore says they also have a Color Foam Party planned for June 3rd.

Like a giant bubble bath on the lawn.

This will be held at 1st Baptist Church.

Of course, there are both adult and youth reading programs.  Moore says for the youth, that includes kids up to 18 years old.

Different age groups, presenters, and reading logs and bingo cards.

For the adults, there will be weekly prize drawings, monthly special programs, and “take and make” crafts.

There is no charge for the events and you can register at any time.  Check with the desk at the libraries.
