Surplus Declarations Approved By City Council

Two declarations of surplus were approved as part of Monday’s Chillicothe City Council meeting.  City Administrator Roze Frampton says the first request came from the Police Department.

Bicycles that will be donated to 55 & Go.

There are 113 bikes that were recovered or seized.  These date back to 2014.

The bikes could be used for parts or repaired and given to children in the community through the Joy Toy Bike program.

 

Frampton says there are a few items from City Hall.

Broken officer furniture that has no value.

There is one large mirror that could be sold.

In addition, numerous USED railroad ties have been declared surplus.
