The case against former Sullivan County Public Administrator, 65-year-old Joan Brummitt, of Milan has a new judge assigned.
On January 15th, when the case was bound over to Sullivan County Circuit Court, the case was sent to the Missouri Supreme Court to be assigned to a judge outside the 9th Circuit.
The Supreme Court assigned Judge Ryan Horsman to preside over the case. Brummitt’s attorneys made a motion for another new judge in the case.
The case was sent back to the Missouri Supreme Court to be assigned to a judge. This week, the Supreme Court assigned Judge Matthew M. Krohn from the 3rd Judicial Circuit – Mercer County.
