Thursday Police Report

The Chillicothe Police Department responded to 98 calls for service throughout the day on Thursday. Including these significant activities:

 

2:05 PM: Officers responded to a two-vehicle accident at Lilly Street and Brunswick Street. One driver was cited for failure to yield. No injuries were reported.

 

8:54 PM: Officers investigated a trespassing complaint on Walnut Street involving individuals searching for a lost cat. The situation was resolved after officers spoke with all parties involved.

 

10:23 PM: Officers responded to complaints about teenagers racing vehicles on Mitchell Avenue. Officers patrolled the area but did not locate the vehicles at that time.

 

10:47 PM: During a traffic stop at Washington Street and Waples Street, officers identified one of the vehicles involved in the earlier racing complaint. The driver was issued a warning and advised against racing.

 

Throughout the day, officers conducted multiple traffic stops resulting in warnings for various violations including speeding, failure to stop at stop signs, and equipment violations.
