An 18 year old female from Chillicothe failed to yield at US Hwy 36 at Huron Drive in Brookfield on Thursday just after 5 PM, striking an 81 year old male driver from Leclede. The passenger of the 18 year old female, was a 16 year old male from Brookfield who suffered moderate injuries. The female driver of the ford fusion had no injuries reported, while the 81 year old male had minor injuries. Missouri State Highway patrol was assisted by Linn County Sheriff’s department and both individuals with injuries were transported by Linn County ambulance to Pershing Memorial Hospital.
