No injuries are reported in a train crash involving a side-by-side UTV in Mendon Monday. The Missouri Highway Patrol is investigating the crash that happened about 8:40 am at Mike Road, north of Mendon. According to the report, the UTV became stuck on the tracks and was struck by the Burlington Northern/Santa Fe train.
The UTV was totaled and there was damage to the train’s engine.
