Three accidents investigated by State Troopers on Saturday left three injured.
State Troopers report a pedestrian was injured when they were struck by a pick-up on Highway 190 in Jamesport at about 5:45 pm. According to the report, the pick-up driven by a 69-year-old Overland Park, KS man was northbound on 190, and a 51-year-old Jamesport man was walking northbound when he was struck by the passenger side mirror. The pedestrian refused treatment at the scene.
At about 6:20 pm in Sullivan County, Troopers investigated a two-vehicle crash that left one driver with moderate injuries. The report states a pick-up driven by a 19-year-old Milan man was westbound on Highway 6, 2 miles west of Green City, and struck the rear of a westbound car driven by a 21-year-old Columbia woman, who had slowed to make a turn into a driveway. The Columbia woman had moderate injuries and was taken to Sullivan County Memorial Hospital for treatment.
At 6:50 pm in Caldwell County, a two-vehicle crash occurred on US 36 at Center Road, 3 miles east of Cameron, as a vehicle driven by a Cameron man slowed to make a left turn at a cross over and was run into by a 23-year-old Hamilton woman in a car, who was distracted by an electronic device. The Hamilton woman had minor injuries and was treated at Cameron Regional Medical Center.
