Two Teens Injured In UTV Crash Near Hamilton

A UTV crash near Hamilton Monday evening left two Hamilton teens injured.  State Troopers report the crash occurred at about 5:40 pm on Waltz Avenue, 4 miles north of Hamilton, when a 15-year-old boy was westbound and struck a hump in the roadway while approaching a bridge.  The UTV went off the south side of the road and became airborne before striking a concrete wing wall, then struck the ground, landing on the passenger side.

 

The driver had minor injuries and refused treatment.  His 15-year-old passenger had moderate injuries and was taken to Cameron Regional Medical Center.  The report states they were wearing safety devices.
