Weekend Chillicothe Police Report

One hundred seventy calls for service were handled by the Chillicothe Police Department from Friday through Sunday.  Some of the calls include:

Friday,

At 09:24 am Officers responded to the 1500 block of Fair Street in reference to wellbeing check on a 79-year-old man. Officers found the home had extensive plumbing issues and contacted CMU to correct the issue. Officers also contacted Health and Senior Services for additional assistance for the man to ensure his safety and well-being.

At 09:39 am Officers responded to the 600 block of West Business 36 for a 47-year-old woman in crisis. Officers were able to speak to her and provided assistance utilizing Missouri Mental Health staff members to continue to assist the woman and prevent further issues.

At 08:29 pm Officers responded to the 100 block of Trenton Road for a 49-year-old woman in crisis. Officers spoke with the woman to calm the situation and gather information. She was later transported to Hedrick Medical Center for evaluation.

Saturday,

At 09:18 pm Officers responded to Danner Park for multiple people riding dirt bikes and 4-wheelers causing property damage to the park.  Officers located the individuals in the 1400 block of McVay Street and verified no damage was done in the park. A 20-year-old man was arrested for driving while suspended and later released with a citation.

Sunday,

At 02:10 pm Officers responded to the 1100 block of Calhoun Street on a report of property damage. Officers gathered information and attempted to make contact with the suspect. The investigation is ongoing at this time pending charges.

Officers also conducted several traffic stops, business checks, vehicle checks, and followed up with numerous investigations.
