Weekend Chillicothe Police Report

One-hundred-sixty-four calls for service were handled by the Chillicothe Police Department over the weekend.  Some of the calls include:

Friday, officers responded to a vehicle crash involving a deer on Washington Street with no injuries reported, and addressed complaints of juveniles ringing doorbells and running away, which was resolved without incident.

Saturday included several disturbances and accidents. Officers broke up a fight on Washington Street, investigated a report of vehicle vandalism that resulted in no damage, and assisted county deputies with a domestic assault arrest that occurred outside city limits. Police also responded to a hit-and-run involving a parked vehicle, a two-vehicle crash that sent one person to the hospital, and a domestic disturbance that led to the arrest of an intoxicated man.

On Sunday, officers handled a trespassing disturbance, investigated reported vehicle property damage, and arrested a woman for driving under the influence following a traffic stop.

Officers also conducted routine traffic stops, business and vehicle checks, and follow-up investigations throughout the weekend.
