Weekend Chillicothe Police Report

More than 120 calls for service were handled by the Chillicothe Police Department from Friday through Sunday.  Some of the calls include:

On Friday, officers responded to reports of suspicious activity, domestic disturbances, harassment complaints, and several civil matters. Police also assisted with multiple mental health–related calls, including a person in crisis who was taken into protective custody and transported for medical treatment. A report of possible child abuse was investigated.

Saturday’s calls included traffic and parking complaints, property damage, slide-off accidents due to winter conditions, and multiple reports involving individuals experiencing mental health crises. Officers also investigated an assault and a theft complaint.

On Sunday, police handled false alarms, noise complaints, and several weather-related incidents. Officers investigated a protection order violation and arrested a suspect in connection with a theft and burglary. Additional calls included animal welfare concerns and assistance with individuals in crisis.
