Weekend Chillicothe Police Report

Nearly 120 calls for service were handled by the Chillicothe Police Department since Friday morning.

Officers responded to two injury crashes Friday, including one at Highway 65 and US 36 that sent both drivers to the hospital with minor injuries. A 29-year-old man was arrested for DWI, and a juvenile assault investigation is being referred to the juvenile office.

Over the weekend, officers conducted a well-being check on an elderly woman, addressed reckless driving complaints, and trespassed a man accused of trying to steal fuel from parked trucks.

Sunday brought a reported vehicle theft, a second DWI arrest, a shoplifting arrest at Walmart, a small trash fire, and two missing juveniles who were safely located and returned home. Officers also completed routine patrols and follow-up investigations across the city.
