Woman Injured In Grundy County Crash

A crash involving a horse-drawn buggy and a pick-up left the driver of the buggy with moderate injuries.  State Troopers responded to the crash on Thursday at about 9:40 am on Route F near SW 50th Avenue, 6 miles east of Jamesport.  According to the report, the buggy, driven by a 38-year-old woman from Trenton, was pulling onto Route F from a private drive.  An eastbound pick-up driven by a 59-year-old Trenton man attempted to avoid the buggy by steering off the right side of the road, but struck the left rear of the buggy.  The buggy driver was taken to Mosaic Life Care in St. Joseph for treatment of moderate injuries.
