The Chillicothe Hornets and Lady Hornets both advanced to the championship game of the California Tournament.
The Chillicothe Lady Hornets met the Tipton Lady Cardinals in the championship. Tipton played top notch from the start opening up a 16-0 lead and was ahead 36-16 at half. Tipton claimed the tournament trophy with a 71-38 win.

The Hornets then faced the Eugene Eagles in the finals. Chillicothe hit three first quarter three pointers and held a 21-12 lead before Eugene erased the margin and took control. The Eagles were ahead 29-27 at half and used a dominant third quarter run to enter the final frame up by 21. Eugene won the 91st Annual California Tournament championship game by a final score of 66-45.
