Chillicothe Boys Wrestling Host Tournament, Earn Multiple Podium Finishes

The Chillicothe boys wrestling team finished sixth overall at the Chillicothe Tournament, scoring 105.5 team points against a strong field of 11 schools.

Mid-Buchanan claimed the team title with 138 points, followed by Trenton (130) and Marceline (128.5). Chillicothe placed ahead of Gallatin, Macon, Boonville, Versailles, and Northeast (Kansas City).

Individually, Marshall Boon (106), Riggin Isaacs (113), and Tucker Slattery (190) each finished runner-up in their weight classes. Boon reached the finals with two falls, Isaacs advanced after a semifinal technical fall, and Slattery recorded two falls and a technical fall on his run to second place.

Case Stretch (144) earned a third-place finish, going 4–1 on the day with two falls and two decision wins. Paxton Keith (132), Talon Lake (165), and Colin Urton (285) each placed fourth, contributing valuable team points.

Additional wins in consolation rounds came from Karsin Lent, Lee Nickell, Lukas Young, Cason Roney, and Ethan Mercer.
