CHS Golfer Jackson Trout Earns All-State Honors

Hornet golfer Jackson Trout qualified for the Class 3 State Finals at Rivercut Golf Course in Springfield, and competed in the two round event on Monday and Tuesday. Trout shot one stroke above par each day to finish with a 146 total score. Among the 92 golfers at state, Trout’s +2 landed him in 8th place overall at the tournament.

The Class 3 State Champion was Summit Christian Academy’s Peyton Smith who finished just five strokes better than Chillicothe’s Trout over the two days.
