To end their long stretch of road games, the CHS girls tennis team traveled to Cameron for an early team dual to beat out the evening’s big storm. They all played quick, no-ad matches to make sure the important conference and district match could be finished before lightning arrived. The Lady Hornets dominated all night and almost everyone found a win! Lydia Bonderer continued on her recovery with a spectacular showing, winning a full pro-8 in record time. Lexy Smith, Isabel Nagel, and London Douglas also won quickly. Anya Moore and Jocelynn Albrecht saw slightly longer matches with longer rallies, but they both won confidently as well. The varsity score was 9-0 by the end of the night as the storm clouds rolled in, and the team moves to 3-2 overall. The JV team saw good, close battles with a few pairs battling back from being down for a tough win. Results were as follows:
