The Chillicothe 7th grade Girls Basketball team took second in the Cameron Tournament.
On Friday the team beat Cameron girls 33-26. Chillicothe 7th grade was led by Madison Albaugh with 14 points, Jolie Bonderer with 8, Riley Washburn with 5, Izzy Garr with 4, Kayanna Cranmer with 2 and playing time for Maci Johnson and Hadley Beemer.
On Saturday Smithville beat Chillicothe 44-21. Chillicothe was le by Jolie Bonderer with 13, Madison Albaugh with 6 and Izzy Garr with 2. Receiving playing time included Kayanna Cranmer, Maci Johnson, Hadley Beemer, Emily Schreiner, Riley Washburn and Heidi Gault.
The Chillicothe 7th grade boys team also took second in the Cameron Tournament.
On Friday Chillicothe beat Cameron 41-29 led by Jackson Trout with 13, Quentin Midgyett with 10, Grant Leamer 9, Hagan Atchison 6, Andrew Hecker with 3 and playing time for Jason Collins, Josh Adams, Mason Meservey and Brennan Shoop.
On Saturday, the 7th grade boys lost the championship game to a larger school and finished in second place. No other details on the game was made available.
