The Benton Lady Cardinals scored late in the game to beat Chillicothe 1-0 in St Joseph. Chillicothe beat Benton at home earlier this season 5-0.
The lone score of the game was scored late in the game by Benton, in the top corner of the goal.
With the loss Chillicothe falls to 10-4 overall and 1-2 in MEC play.
Things went better in the Junior Varsity contest with a 6-0 Chillicothe JV win. Makayla Vance and Julia Stimpson each scored three goals and Chloe Funk had an assist.
The Chillicothe JV is now 7-1-1 on the season.
