Area Players to compete in Lions All-Star Game
The University of Central Missouri in Warrensburg will host to the 42nd Annul Missouri Lions All Star Football game Saturday, July 21st. Pre-game festivities begin at 6:30pm with kick off at 7:00pm at Walton Stadium, Kennedy Field on the UCM Campus.
KCHI Area players on the Blue roster includes Wide Receiver Levi Terrell of Marceline, Linebacker Kenny Pulley and Defensive Lineman Garrett Trosper both of Penney of Hamilton and Blaine Milburn, wide receiver from Princeton.
Area players on the Gold roster includes Defensive Back Clayton Sweeten of Princeton, Quarterback Andrew Smith of Princeton, and Defensive Tackle Trevor Ganaway of Marceline.
The annual game was created to benefit the Missouri Lions Eye Research Foundation and has raised for $200,000 for the state-wide project.
Braymer High School Alumnus Colin Brown, who played for University of Missouri and the Buffalo Bills will be keynote speaker at Friday’s players banquet.
