Chillicothe Lady Hornets Golfer Hallie Jones had a tremendous season as a Freshman in 2017 that culminated in a berth in the MSHSAA Golf Championships. She finished in 35th place in the rain-shortened one day Tournament.
Jones spent the summer competing in several tournaments around Missouri. According to a social media post, she took first in tournaments in Lee’s Summit, Hamilton, Liberty, Riverside and Raytown. She finished second in the Green Hills Tournament in Chillicothe and third in a tournament in Eugene. Over the summer, she also received an invitation and participated in the two-day Junior Tour Championship Tournament at Osage National Golf Resort, finishing second.
Jones is expected to play a key role in the success of the Lady Hornets Golf Team this season.
