Happy Homecoming for Hornets Football

The Chillicothe Hornets football team used a strong rushing game to beat Cameron 34-8 in Friday Night’s homecoming game.
Chillicothe scored late in the first quarter on a Cade Koehly 3 yard run. Koehly would end the night with 26 carries for 146 yards rushing and two touchdowns.
Jaden Winder had the first of his two scores with under 30 seconds left in the first half on a 3 yard run. Cameron moved the football quickly to try and score before the half, but Chillicothe’s Safety Colton Sewell had the first of his two interceptions on the night

The Hornets headed into the halftime locker room with a 22-0 lead. The increased it to a 28-0 lead with Winder’s second touchdown to cap a 93 yard drive.
Cameron scored their only points early in the fourth quarter to end a 65 yard drive.
Koehly scored his second touchdown on the night with just under two minutes left on a 1 yard run to end an 82 yard drive.
Cameron had an effective passing game going 13/24-131 yards but had just 33 rushing yards. Chillicothe had 296 yards on the ground and just 23 yards passing on one attempt.
