Savannah scored the only goal of the Soccer game with under five minutes to go and beat the Hornets at Chillicothe 1-0 in Boys Soccer.
The Savages Kyle Johnson scored the unassisted goal in the 76th minute for the win. After the game, Chillicothe Coach Tim Cunningham said Savannah just made one more play that his Hornets team. He called it a “really hard fought match between two really good teams”.
Chillicothe Goalkeeper Daniel Hedrick was credited with five saves. Much of the game was a defensive battle played back and forth in the middle of the field.
