The first round of the District Football Tournaments begin this Friday. For Class 3, District 8 the Chillicothe Hornets are the 4th seed and will host St Joseph Benton in a rematch of last Friday night. All district first round games will be this Friday night at 7:00pm.
The winner of the game faces the winner of top seed Maryville and KC Northeast. The bottom half the bracket is Second seed Savannah against KC Central Academy and Third seed KC ST Pius X against Cameron
In 8-man first round games:
Pattonsburg is the top seed in District 3 and has a bye. They play either North Shelby or Stewartsville. Southwest Livingston is the #2 seed with a first round bye and will play either King City or Braymer in the semi-finals.
Norborne/Hardin Central is the #2 seed in District 4 and faces Osceola on November 2nd
In Class 1 first round games in the KCHI area:
District 8 top seed Milan plays Putnam County, 4th seed South Harrison hosts Hamilton, Marceline hosts Maysville and Gallatin hosts Princeton. District 7 has Polo playing at top seed Wellington.
Class 2 first round games includes:
District 8 Fourth seed Macon hosts Trenton, Lawson hosts Brookfield and Lexington hosts Carrollton.
