Hibner Treys Help Hand Marshall 1st Loss

Hot shooting by Chillicothe Junior Jordan Hibner helped the Lady Hornets to a 6248 win over Marshall. It was the Lady Owls first loss of the season.
Hibner hit 7 out of 12 treys on the night and finished with 25 points. It is not know if the 7 treys is a Lady Hornets single game record.
Hunter Keithley had the first points of the game and Chillicothe led the rest of the way, by as many as 19 points in the fourth quarter. Marshall then started to press and got to with in 8 points, but no closer.
Chillicothe Coach Darren Smith felt if his team was patient, opportunities would open up.

In addition to Hibner’s points, Kennedie Kieffer had 17 points, Keithley had 14, Laney Gaston and Maggie Pfaff with three each and seven others saw playing time. Chillicothe shot 55% from the floor, unofficially.
Chillicothe is now 5-2 and travels to Kirksville Tuesday in the first game of a double header. Both boys and girls games can be heard on KCHI Radio and at KCHI.com.
