The Lady Hornets used a solid passing game and stingy defense to defeat the Lafayette Lady Irish 3-0 on Tuesday night for Chillicothe’s Senior Night.
Addie Ficken would help get things started by assisting on a Lucy Reeter goal in the 7th minute to make it 1-0. In the 22nd minute Julia Stimpson would finish a Makayla Vance cross to make it 2-0 and it would stay that way until halftime.
In the second half Chillicothe would continue to pressure Lafayette and finally Sarah Graves would put the final score in off a Reeter assist in the 50th minute.
The win brings the Lady Hornets record to 14-4 (4-2 MEC). The shutout is a program record 13th in a single season.
