Class 3 Area State Track Results

The high school track season is over with the state championships held over the weekend.
Chillicothe athletes brought home a few medals and valuable experience.
The Hornet Boys team scored three points for a tie for 45th place out of 77 teams.
The 4×400 team brought home the only medal, finishing 6th with Ethan Corbin, Kaleb Mullikin, Peyton Forck and Isaak Rasche running a time of 3:30.16, nearly 14 seconds behind champion Cardinal Ritter.
Freshman Damarcus Kelow finished just out of medal contention with a discus throw of 9th place finish with a toss of 137 feet. Isaak Rasche finished 11th in the 400 in a time of 51.64. 4×200 relay team of Deon Reynolds, Kaleb Mullikin, Peyton Forck and Isaak Rasche was 10th in a time of 1:32.36.
The Hornet Girls team was tied for 55th with one point. Jordan Hibner was 8th in Long Jump at 16′ 4.5″. Kylee Larson did not qualify for the 100 hurdles finals with a time of 16.7.
For Trenton Boys the team finished 22nd with 12 points. They were led by Brian Ewing: 4th in 100 with a time of 10.99, 5th in the 200 with a time of 22.43, 6th in Long Jump at 21′ 7.5″ and 13th in the 400 in 51.88. Carson Burchett was 13th in shot put at 46′ 7.75″
The Trenton Girls team was 22nd with 12 points. 4×400 relay team of Krisi Ewing, Lexi Gott, McKayla Blackburn and Alexis Whitaker was 3rd in 4:06.02. Kristi Ewing was 4th in the 400 at 58.51. Salem Croy was 5th in javelin with a throw of 123′ 4″. Maci Moore was 10th in shot put with a throw of 36′ 2″, 10th in Shot Put at 36′ 2″ and 14th in high jump at 4′ 10″. Alexis Whitaker was 4th in 300 hurdles in 46.7 but did not make the 200 finals with a time of 26.25. Mykah Hurley was 15th in long jump at 15′ 5.25″.
