One man has been arrested following a drug bust by the Livingston County Sheriff’s Department.
33 year old Steven L. Burns of Chillicothe was arrested for alleged drug violations after a search warrant resulted in the seizure of alleged methamphetamine and methamphetamine drug paraphernalia.
Burns has since been charged with alleged felony possession of controlled substance-Methamphetamine and remains incarcerated pending a court appearance.
Burns is also on parole for a sex crime and information has been sent to the parole officer.
A Sheriff’s Department employee was injured during the bust when they were cut from a device used to force open a door. The employee required multiple stitches at the hospital.
