Recovering Flood Damaged Fields Meeting

When floods damage a field, recovery may not be a simple as the producer may think. The University of Missouri Extension service is offering programs around the region on repairing flood-damaged fields. University of Missouri Extension field specialist in livestock, Heather Conrow says Many crop fields and pasture lands in Missouri were damaged by flooding during the spring. She says many fields remain un-planted and underwater and producers may see lasting effects of flooding on their soil, crops and pastures.
The 2019 Repairing Flood-Damaged Fields Workshop will be held from 6:00 to 8:00 pm on Tuesday, Aug. 20 at the Carroll County MU Extension Office, in Carrollton. Please RSVP by calling 660-542-1792 by Monday Aug. 19.
