Two football scrimmages will be later this week for the Chillicothe Hornets team.
Thursday at 6:30pm will be the Red and Black inner squad scrimmage at Jerry Litton Memorial Stadium.
In addition to the scrimmage game, old football helmets and jerseys will be on sale by the Press Box from 6:00 to 8:00pm.
Friday the Hornets will be on the road for the annual four team jamboree.
This year Chillicothe travels to Moberly High School and the newly renovated Larry K. Noel Spartan Stadium.
Chillicothe starts at 7:00pm on the north end against Centralia. After that, Chillicothe takes on Hallsville on the north end of the field. At 8:00pm Chillicothe will face Moberly on the south end of the field.
Each team gets 12 plays on offense and 12 on defense with no special teams. Penalties will be called with driving starting on the 40 yard line. If no first down is made, a new drive for the team starts at the 40-yard line until all 12 plays are used.
