CHS Wrestling goes 3-1 in Triangular

The Chillicothe Hornet wrestling team went 1 and 1 in a triangular meet on the road.
Chillicothe beat Brookfield boys 40-17. Individual results were:
Chillicothe was open to Brookfield at 106 and 120. Both teams were open at 113 and 132. Brock Miller, Isaac Washburn and Christian Peniston all won with byes.
126 Aidan Zimmerman lost by pin in 44-seconds
138 Colten Sewell lost 3-2 to last year’s state medalist.
145 Bryce Dominique won 13-2, 152 Nickolas Heldenbrand won by pin in 1:05.
160 Dawson Wheeler won by pin in 3:08, 182 Isaih Kille won by pin in 35 seconds and 195 Evan Loucks lost by pin in 4:31.
Gallatin edged out Chillicothe 39-28. Chillicothe was open at 106 and 120. Both teams open at 113 and Gallatin was open to Evan Loucks at 195, Isaac Washburn at 220 and Christian Peniston at 285.
In contested matches, Aidan Zimmerman lost 12-2, 132 Jaxon Albertson lost by pin.

In the girls competition

Chillicothe girls beat Gallatin 24-12. In contested matches Abigail Clements won by pin in 44 seconds. Karyna Ireland lost by pin in 4:03 and Summer Drake lost by pin in 4:02. Chillicothe had three wrestlers win with a bye.
