The Chillicothe Hornets Volleyball team lost to the Marshall Owls 24-26, 23-25, 12-25 at Chillicothe High School. Statistical leaders for the Lady Hornets were Senior Maya Snyder and junior Essie Hicks with 10 and 7 kills respectively. Sophomore Jessica Reeter had 15 assists. Freshman Delanie Kieffer had 7 aces and 7 digs in the first set, finishing with 7 and 10. Junior Gracie West led the team with 3 blocks.
Hornet Junior Varsity won 25-20, 25-19. Sophomore Trista Tipton led the team with 3 aces. Tipton, Anna Fisher and Claire Walker each had 6 kills. Sophomores Halle Hill and Allison Higgins had 11 and 10 assists respectively.
The Hornet freshman won 25-17, 27-25. Alice Hurtgen won 8 serves in the first set and Madison Albaugh won 10 in the second set. Maci Johnson had several kills.
