The Savannah Lady Savages basketball team beat Chillicothe 47 to 42 at Savannah. The Lady Savages led 15-10 after the first quarter and 33 to 25 at halftime.
Much of the game was spent at the free throw line with Savannah sinking 15 out of 20 and Chillicothe hitting 15 of 28.
The Lady Hornets had 19 points from Jessica Reeter, nine from Joli Bonderer, six from Essie Hicks, five from Brooke Horton, four from Selby Miller, one from Lucy Reeter and playing time for Ellie Barnett, Sophia Luetticke and Cali Burkhardt.
