The Chillicothe Lady Hornets Basketball team battled hard all night but lost their second game in as many days, falling to Cameron 53 to 42.
After a three-all tie early in the game, the rest of the contest was led by Cameron. Chillicothe closed a 14-point gap to five points twice but could get no closer.
Coach Darren Smith took the blame for the loss, commenting that the Lady Dragons are more than just their star player, Laini Joseph.
Cameron showed a balanced attack with four of the five starters scoring in double figures between 10 and 14 points.
Chillicothe was led by 17 points from Jolie Bonderer, Jessica Reeter with 12, Lucy Reeter with five, Essie Hicks with four, Kinlei Boley with three, Brooke Horton with one and playing time for Ellie Barnett, Selby Miller, and Cali Burkhardt.
