Hornets Baseball Beats Cameron in 5-innings

The Chillicothe Baseball team picked up a conference victory over Cameron 15 to 1 in five innings, thanks to the 10-run rule.
Chillicothe scored one in the first, two in the second and a big third inning with seven runs. Three more in the fourth and two in the fifth ended the game.
The Hornets were effective at the plate with 17 hits, led by Griff Bonderer going four of five with a double and three singles, and scoring five runs.
Two hits each for Mason Baxter, Brock Ward, Landon Winder and Max Wagers.
One hit for Gage Leamer, Alijah Hibner, Wyatt Brandsgaard, Brock Miller and Tucker Wagers. Baxter and Hibner had home runs, Tucker and Max Wagers and Brock ward all had doubles.
Baxter picked up the win and Gabe Hanson in relief on the mound.
